Two days of important tests in Fiorano
As we reported yesterday, activity on the track at Fiorano began today for Scuderia Ferrari. Today a test is being carried out for the FIA with sprayguards with two cars, one 2022 F1-75 and a 2024 SF-24on which they alternate Arthur Leclerc, Oliver Bearman and Carlos Sainz. The objective of these tests is to study an effective type of sprayguard that allows the lifting of water to be reduced, significantly reducing visibility – and therefore safety – for the pilots following. In fact, from the images we can see that Bearman is behind Leclerc to evaluate the effectiveness of the sprayguards mounted on the F1-75, but not on the SF-24.
Tomorrow instead there will be 200 km filming day to collect images featuring the traditional HP logo livery on the 2024 SF-24, driven by Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc. Also on Friday we will also see her on the track F1-75 in TPC version (Testing of Previous Car, paragraph 10.2 of the technical regulations, ed.), on which they will be seen Arthur Leclerc and Oliver Bearman.
On the occasion of tomorrow’s filming day, Ferrari will also be able to collect the first data relating to news expected on the track in Imola next weekend. The SF-24s with traditional livery updated with the HP logo may be in the ‘EVO’ version with the updates studied in Maranello in this first part of the season to improve performance.
