Third new face for Trasporti Pietro Bressan Offanengo in view of the next women’s A2 championship. The Cremonese club welcomed the power plant Chiara Salvatori, coming from Omag-Mt San Giovanni in Marignano. Born on 7 March 2003 in Bologna, Chiara Salvatori is originally from San Lazzaro di Savena, where she approached volleyball at the age of 8.
“I used to do artistic gymnastics – he confessed – my mom pushed me to try volleyball; sport runs at home in the family: my mother likes to run, my brother plays football while my father played handball at a high level”. His career then saw her arrive at Volleyrò, achieving a third place nationally under 16 and subsequently a second in Under 18, completing the youth cycle. The 2021/2022 year saw her land in A2 at Olimpia Teodora Ravenna, confirming herself in the category in the last two seasons always in Romagna, on the San Giovanni in Marignano side.

“I have always heard good things about Offanengo – added the Emilian player – and I had a positive thought albeit from the outside; when we played against, I noticed how the support was particularly warm and this was also a factor in my choice. I am very happy with the company’s call and I am sure we will do great things together; I’m excited and I want to work, I can’t wait to get to know my teammates, the staff and the whole environment. I saw Offanengo as an opportunity for growth, I’m coming from a somewhat difficult season and I thank the club for the trust they had in me. I will try to repay it in my first season where I can be more of a protagonist in the category. My characteristics? I’m better at blocking, while I need to improve especially in attack and serving”.
