The fifth edition of the national tournament will take place at the Dorando Pietri field on Sunday 12 May from 9:00 City of Carpi for the Under 14 category, in which teams from Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Tuscany, Marche and Campania will participate. It will be the fifth year of the national competition that the Rugby Carpi proposes, contributing with this project to the expansion of the sport and the number of young rugby enthusiasts. In the prelude to the Falcons’ sporting festival, the president of the Carpi club Stefano Bolognesi commented: “The fact that we can meet teams from far away is a source of great pride. This tournament is not only an opportunity to compete on a sporting level, but also to learn from others, to deal with different realities and to grow together as athletes and individuals”.
The sports clubs that will be present are Modena rugby 1965, reigning champion of the last two editions, Highlanders Formigine Rugby, Union Rugby Viterbo, Mascalzoni del Canale, Pontedera Bellaria Rugby, Formiche Rugby Pesaro and Rugby Benevento. On Sunday morning the day will begin at 7.30 with the accreditation of the teams and at 9.00 the matches will begin at the Dorando Pietri field, which will host the athletes, families and the entire community who want to attend the Carpi Rugby celebration. During the tournament there will be various stands where companions, fans and parents can have lunch.
