The Biancoceleste celebration at the Olympic Stadium will begin before 11:00.
An entire people celebrating, 50 years after the triumph signed by Lenzini and Maestrelli, Wilson and Chinaglia. On the anniversary day of Lazio-Foggia, the Biancocelesti heroes will return to tread the turf of the Olimpico, right there where in 1974 they wrote one of the most important pages in our more than one hundred year history.
Sunday will feature a prologue to Saturday from 11:00 to 19:30, with the installation in the Auditorium of the last stage of the “Meravigliosa” exhibition, which can also be visited by Biancocelesti fans the following day from 14:30 at 5.30pm.
Sunday 12 May will have the first official event in the commemorative postmark celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first Scudetto. The event will take place inside the Olimpico press room at 10.45am.
From that moment on, all attention will be turned to the playing field, to which the supporters of those epic exploits will return. The players, and in some cases their heirs, will be called to receive the applause of the tens of thousands of supporters who will be present in the stands – as well as the players who today make up the Biancoceleste squad -, and then they will all be involved in a long virtual hug, making the entire tour of the pitch.
