Blitz of the Lions Alto Lazio Rugby in Colleferro on the last day of the championship and final fourth place in the standings for the valid team from Viterbo. The match against Colleferro, which was of little value for the purposes of the standings, was played for all 80 minutes with enthusiasm and determination, but also respect, by both teams, enthralling the large crowd present. As always, the Lions proved to be a true, highly cohesive group who, fighting until the end, deservedly managed to bring home the match.
«Finishing this championship with a victory – says the Lions Alto Lazio management – especially away from home, was like putting the seal on a totally positive season of which the boys were the main creators. Thanks to their commitment, the Alto Lazio Lions are achieving the objective for which they were born, that of being a point of reference for Lazio rugby, giving the children who practice this sport in our territory the opportunity to try their hand at and compete an increasingly qualitative level. In addition to the players, applause goes to our technical staff who provided the Lions with the means to be able to express themselves at a good level, and to the wonderful group of supporters who throughout the championship never stopped encouraging our boys by following them, like yesterday , even outside the home. The final result was 12-19, which gave the Lions an excellent fourth place in the standings. The activity doesn’t end here, we change scenery but it’s still rugby. The people of Viterbo are ready to wear the Cimina Brothers shirt which from June 1st will see them ambitiously involved in the Italian beach rugby championship.”
