The report cards of Roma-Juventus 1-1

ROME-JUVENTUS REPORT CARDS

Svilar 7.5: in the first half he did little or nothing and, when it came to scoring, he could do very little. In the second half, however, he goes wild and saves everything. Fundamental.

Kristensen 6: he hits the crossbar and comes close to scoring in the second half too. In the defensive phase, he suffers a lot from Chiesa’s offensives.

Llorente 5.5: played a good game overall, marred by Bremer’s goal. He was marking the Juventus defender on the occasion of the corner, then the action continued, Bremer moved a lot and, in the end, suddenly came back out with a decisive goal.

Ndicka 6: clean performance from the Giallorossi defender, especially on Vlahovic. He also takes the license to put in a nice cross for Lukaku in the first half.

Angelino 6.5: he pushes a lot on the wing and when he goes to cross he shows that he has a very polite foot.

Cristante 6.5: he tries to bring order in the middle of the pitch and gets the Giallorossi goal, with the shot blocked at Lukaku’s feet.

Paredes 6: dictates the times and does so in the usual order. He also tries a long shot, without much luck.

Baldanzi 7: he starts slowly but grows over time and, just before going out, he makes a crazy play that almost leads to a goal. Released, perhaps, too soon. From the 68th minute Azmoun 5.5: he manages to touch few balls. Impalpable.

Pilgrims 6: he tries on a couple of occasions, without managing to materialise. He makes his usual contribution in the defensive phase, unfortunately allowing Chiesa to miss him on the occasion of Bremer’s goal but through no fault of his own, given that Chiesa missed practically everyone, including those who are defenders for a living. He gives everything and runs the ball intelligently. From 78′ Bove SV.

Dybala 6: so and so starts, with a lost ball that leads to a chance for Juventus with Vlahovic. Then he grows and is good for Kristensen’s goal. He tries a couple of free kicks, which end outside. From 46′ Zalewski 6: enters the field well, gives a good ball to Pellegrini and fights until the end.

Lukaku 7: he tries a couple of times with no luck, but he’s good at being in the right place at the right time. From 68′ Abraham 5: after the sensational opportunity wasted on Thursday, he tries to make amends but makes a mistake once again at the last minute. These are heavy and important moments for Roma’s season and we must be up to it.

De Rossi 6: he prepares the match well and Roma deservedly takes the lead, playing well. However, the arrivals of Azmoun and Abraham did not bring any benefits, especially with Baldanzi in great form.
