The reaction of coach Luigi Del Casale’s team from Vasto was splendid good at equalizing the scores in the second (24-26) and completing the comeback in the third (23-25). The fourth set was also very hard fought, but was won by Paglieta (25-22) who in the fifth and decisive set closed the games with the final 15-7 (3-2).
There is a lot of bitterness among the people of Vasto for a long-cherished victory, especially in the first three sets. However, nothing is compromised even now Captain Busilacchi and his partners will have to even the score and then play it all in the decisive game 3. In the event of a defeat in the next match, Virtus Volley Paglieta would be the ones to gain the pass to Serie C.
