Nuova Pallavolo San Giovanni returns to its friendly walls of the PalaMariotti on the twelfth day of the second round of the Serie B volleyball championship. The opponent of the moment will be a team already confident of remaining in the category: Volleyball Saronno.
After the incredible victory achieved in Biella, which earned them salvation, the blue and white team achieved one positive result after another, also passing through the Yaka Malnate Volley parquet. Yet another victory away from home put the icing on the cake for Trading Logistic’s season, now awaited by the commitment with Pallavolo Saronno. A team that, after a slow start, has started grinding out performances and points again, gaining mathematical retention in Serie B last week. The returns of the Gaggini and Fontana gangs were decisive. Two key players, who, once they returned to the net from their respective injuries, gave the team a different rhythm.
“Every match remains a battle – explains coach Luigi Parisi –. Partly because we are not at our best, partly because the level of our opponents is always high. However, we have come from months where we trained without some players and faced various physical problems.” On Saronno, he then adds: “We are talking about a highly competitive team, with superior category volleyball players. They experienced a complicated start to the year, burdened by some unavailability. But now they are playing. In the last few games they brought home an excellent loot, losing only to the top two in the class. We will try to focus only on the technical and playing aspects, in order to use all our energies to put in the best possible performance.”
As per the calendar, please note that the match is valid for the 25th day of the championship. Npsg Trading Logistic and Pallavolo Saronno will face each other at the Palazzetto dello Sport Gianfranco Mariotti at 8.30pm on Saturday 4 May 2024. The match will be refereed by Yuri Armelani and Rebecca Vannini.
