In the first subdivision there were gymnasts from Spain, Belgium, Greece, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Ireland and a Mixed Group made up of Luxembourg, Malta, Liechtenstein and the Principality of Monaco.

Spain played an excellent match, so much so that they reached the top of the team standings without any particular problems. Alba Petisco And Ana Perez they both completed an excellent performance on all the tools and drove the team towards this good result. Belgium was unable to express itself at its best either on the beam or on the parallel bars, two of its top tools. The Olympic champion on the stands Nina Derwael she fell on both of these tools and it is likely that we will not see her again in either final. The teammate Maellyse Brassart she is the only Belgian gymnast to complete a competition without errors and to leap into second position in the provisional All-Around ranking (51.932), behind Petisco. Among the outsiders, a good individual performance by the Finnish gymnast Kaia Tanskaneswho ends the race without hope of obtaining the pass to Paris, provisionally in the hands of Brassart.
