Picco Lecco Volleyball is pleased to announce the confirmation of Helena Sassolini for the 2024-2025 sports season. After an impressive season, Helena has solidified her role as the starting setter, demonstrating great skills and leadership on the court.
Helena, born in 2005, faced her first season in Serie A2 with enthusiasm and determination: “This was my first A2 season so as soon as I arrived I had to settle in for a moment and understand what the championship, the level and the club were like. Little by little I became aware of my abilities and thanks to the opportunities I was given I think I demonstrated it,” Helena shared.
His growth during the season was remarkable, culminating in performances that earned the trust and esteem not only of the technical staff but also of the entire Lecco environment. “I am very happy with this season and above all with the confirmation from the club. I’m happy that they appreciated me as a player but also as a person on a human level,” adds Helena.
Despite the challenges encountered, Helena and her team demonstrated great cohesion: “Despite the many difficulties we encountered this year we always managed to emerge as a true team and this does us credit.”
Helena is enthusiastic about the idea of continuing her journey with Picco Lecco and facing the new challenges of next season: “I am very satisfied with my team and my personal performances and I can’t wait to start working again!”
