This is the welcome letter from President Leopoldo Ceccherelli: “Players, coaches and parents, it is with great emotion and a pinch of pride that I welcome this special minirugby tournament, dedicated to the memory of our dear friend Andrea, a big boy who passed the ball too early. Andrea was not only a friend, but also a teammate, a mentor and a reference figure for so many of us. His passion for rugby was contagious, his enthusiasm for the sport inspired everyone around him and his commitment to our club was invaluable. Andrea was and is Rugby. For this reason, twenty years ago it was decided to dedicate this tournament to his memory, our way of not forgetting him, to pay homage to him and to pass on to our kids the values that he loved so much: passion, fun, respect, commitment, support and play. team. The memory of him will continue to live in our hearts and in particular in the smiles and joy of life of the children who will participate in this tournament. Obviously the real protagonists of this event are the little rugby players… The future of this sport, who with their enthusiasm, their desire to have fun and their team spirit can achieve great goals. In this tournament, as in any sport, there will be winners and losers, but the most important thing is that all the mini athletes have fun, give their best and learn something new. They have the opportunity to play with passion, make new friends and have an unforgettable experience. Have fun, play with determination and commitment, respect both opponents and referees, help each other. Rugby is a sport for everyone”
