The Belgian footballer joins the rossoblù permanently because, as established by the contract stipulated in the summer by the two clubs, at the 25th appearance of the 2002 class the loan would have turned into a mandatory redemption. A figure that could further grow to 10 million in case of obtaining certain sporting results.

This season De Winter has made 26 appearances in Serie A and 2 in the Italian Cup, becoming one of the cornerstones of the team coached by Alberto Gilardino. Here is therefore the first entry into the Juventus coffers, which could be further enriched in the upcoming transfer session: in fact, there are several players owned by Juventus on loan and who next summer they could leave permanently.
