On La Gazzetta dello Sport Belgian coach Domenico Tedesco spoke, starting with a consideration on Lukaku: “His was a very complicated season at the beginning. He arrived at Roma at the start of the championship after a preparation in which I didn’t know what would become of him. I was very happy when I learned that he would return to Italy and was the protagonist in Rome. When you sign a striker like him the expectations are always very high, but Lukaku knows how to handle pressure with incredible calm.”
On De Katelaere: “If I was surprised by what he is doing in Bergamo? Yes and no, because I know what Charles is capable of, even if he came from a difficult season in which he played little, without ever finding the right consistency.”
On Fiorentina’s match against Bruges: “They are a team that recently changed coach. They played well before but now they win every match. Bruges have individual talent and a solid system: it will be a spectacular clash.”
On the rumors that he is among the candidates for the Milan bench: “I don’t comment on market rumors because there are too many, I wouldn’t know where to start and where to end.”
