The legislation that had previously regulated the manufacturing of motorcycle helmets is changing. We are talking about 22-05, which has been replaced by 22-06 and which appears to be even more stringent than in the past. The product in question will now have to pass rigorous tests aimed at guaranteeing maximum safety for the driver while driving.
The new legislation, in fact, recommends that communication systems – let’s think about intercoms for communications with devices and other motorcyclists – they will have to be approved as Specific Accessories (SA) or Universal Accessories (UA) and therefore be specifically certified.
