There is nothing to be done for the Juventus sporting director, who must abandon the transfer paths followed so far and turn to other names to strengthen the squad.
The Juventus crisis is not tending to go away, and now the fans and the whole environment they can’t wait for the current season to end so they can fully focus on the one to come. In this last month, however, the Old Lady still has two objectives to conquer: qualification for the next Champions League, which is now just a few points away, and the Italian Cup, which will compete in the final with Atalanta.
Only then can we focus on the future. In reality though the Juventus management has already started moving for the next summer transfer sessionwhere we will try to strengthen the squad in the best possible way, precisely to make it competitive on all fronts in which the team will be involved.
However, among the many names that sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli had started to follow there are a couple that seem to have vanished by now. In fact, the players in question are one step away from wearing the shirt of other teams, leaving Juventus and their sporting director with a handful of flies in their hands.
One profile is already blurred
Over the past few weeks, Felipe Anderson it had now been given as a fact to Juventus. The Brazilian attacking winger, whose contract with Lazio was expiring, should have moved under Mole on a free transfer, ready to sign a three-year contract with the Bianconeri.
Recently, however, a bolt from the blue caused Juventus’ plans to fade away: Palmeiras, a Brazilian club, has announced the transfer of the player at the end of the season, leaving Turin society speechless. The former West Ham player’s desire to return home greatly influenced his decision, thus making the zebra hypothesis disappear.
Another big name is increasingly further away
Felipe Anderson, however, seems not to be the only big name to have to join Juve, given that another important footballer has now ended up in the sights of a big European club.
