Do you want a vintage vehicle with which you can travel every day without going unnoticed? An old pearl is back in vogue in a modern way.
At the turn of the 70s and 80s it had achieved great success and now it is ready to return with a decidedly contemporary project which however will not distort the essence of its history. Before going into the details of this nostalgia operation, let’s say that we are talking about a two-wheeler that at the time of its release had won the hearts of kids, thanks to its shape and large saddle.
Today, in its new guise it recalls the design of the time, but instead of addressing a wide audience it has become a product for a few, from every point of view. The reason? It’s about a limited edition, which sees the creation of just 50 examples.
As is easy to understand from the name, it was created by a company from Milan, Officine Cordaro, which is nothing more than a start-up stimulated by the desire to bring back into vogue a much appreciated electric bike, bringing back to work the families who had created it, namely the Ceriani and the Torretta.

But what has been kept of the Saltafoss bicycle original? Except for the aforementioned saddle equipped with large spring shock absorbers, we have a recovery of the steel chassis and mudguards. For the rest, modernity has taken over.
In particular we mention the Magura eMT5 brakes with 200 mm discs, the 20-inch E Huntsman tires and the motor located in the 250 W brushless rear hub with a removable 696 Wh battery, capable of continuing for 40 or 50 km before recharging. It should be noted that this is placed under the saddle and its removal is not particularly easy.
The gearbox has seven gears with five levels of assistance, which can be selected via shield located on the handlebar on the left side. The kilometers traveled and the battery level can also be consulted there. The vehicle is also equipped with walk assist, a system that facilitates travel once alight.
The lights consist of a rounded headlight at the front, then LED brake lights at the rear. The weight is not insignificant, given that we are around 38 kg. The maximum speed that can be reached is the 25 km/h required by law. The price, considering that we are referring to an artisanal product, is 3,950 euros.
