Giorgia Tommasini it is the third piece of the mosaic of Trasporti Pietro Bressan Offanengo in view of the next women’s A2 championship. After the confirmation of the setter Ulrike Bridi and the arrival of the spiker Rachele Nardelli, the association of president Cristian Bressan announces the confirmation of the young libero, born in 2006 and an expression of the territory. Born on 10 July 2006 and originally from Ripalta Cremasca, Tommasini was added to B1 three seasons ago (a year that culminated with promotion) and then became a permanent part of the squad that played two adventures in A2.

“I’m very happy – tells Giorgia Tommasini – in recent years in the first team I have improved: technically in everything, I have always liked defence, while in reception I am a little more confident than in my first year in A2. I think I have made the greatest progress on a character level: when I have to enter the pitch, I now feel calmer and less agitated. In the season that recently ended, I got along very well with the group: it was like being in a big family, where I found lots of older sisters; each one taught me something. Furthermore, being able to continue with the staff led by coach Giorgio Bolzoni is an important point of reference for me.”
“Volley Offanengo – continues the seventeen-year-old black-green – For me it’s like home, especially thanks to the club and the fans who support us. Next season I expect to continue to grow a lot technically and in character and I hope to be able to give my contribution to the team.”
Meanwhile, from 10 to 15 June, Giorgia Tommasini will be involved in the first Offanengo Volleyball Camp. “I gladly joined – he concludes – it will be a nice week and I imagine I will see in the little ones (initiative open from 6 to 14 years old, editor’s note) the enthusiasm that I also felt at their age. In my mind I saw myself a few years ago.”
