Nef Re Salmone Volley Libertas Osimo clearly beats the young Lube Civitanova team 3-0 and continues its journey towards the play-off goal. A precious success from a ranking perspective for the “headless” capable of immediately imposing a good rhythm on the match, with another three important points in the farm which increasingly secure second place.
A series of important positive results for the blue and whites who continue to fly at the top of the table, confirming themselves as one of the best teams at the moment. Coach Pascucci’s sextet which includes, in addition to the captain, Cremascoli, Boesso, Marconi, Terranova, Bizzarri and Stella. Lube Civitanova is a young team looking for points, but the away team started well with Iurisci scoring two aces, 2-5. Pascucci, seeing the margin of advantage, rotates his players and puts youngsters like Melonari, Paci and Carotti into the fray. Terranova was missing and in this second set both in serving and in attack increased the gap with a score of 19-7. The second half is blue and white and La Nef Re Salmone takes the lead 2-0 with the final score of 25-12. Stella is the absolute protagonist of the third set, mini-break of 5-0 and Nef Re Salmone is already ahead 7-1. The Lube boys, despite their young age, show great talent and determination, in some elements such as Dolcini, Zamparini and Iurisci, but La Nef Re Salmone leaves nothing on the way, with Boesso on the block and Terranova – Stella in attack, in the middle of the third set score 12-5. Pascucci, as in the second set, inserts Melonari and above all Carotti, author of two important points, which bring the blue and white closer to winning the third set as well. Then veterans like Stella, Terranova and Bizzarri take care of it; Nef Re Salmone wins the decisive period with a score of 25-14 and continues to fly in the rankings. “We were good right from the start at imposing our game – comments Filippo Melonari – and bringing home what we needed, namely the three points.
