Italy’s path to the 2024 IIHF World Championships in the First Division, Group A opens with a victory currently taking place at the Sparkasse Arena in Bolzano. In fact, the Blue Team defeated Romania in the debut match of the world championship event with a score of 6-1.

In the other matches played today, South Korea beat Slovenia 4-2, while Hungary got the better of Japan with a score of 3-1. The Blue Team will return to the ice on Tuesday 30 April at 7.30 pm against the Japanese.
