La Spezia, 26 April 2024 – There New San Giovanni Volleyball takes the field away, at the multipurpose center in Malnate, on the eleventh day of the second round of the Serie B volleyball championship. The opponent of the round will be the team currently fifth in the standings: Yaka Volley Malnate.
After the incredible victory achieved in Biella, on Ilario Ormezzano’s pitch, the white and blues returned to La Spezia and scored another high, against bottom team Grafiche Amadeo. Thus the blue and white were able to celebrate the salvation achieved the previous week within friendly walls. All before focusing on a new trip, the one that will pit the blue and white against Malnate. One of the best teams in the championship, with excellent individuals in the squad, who set out to reach the play-offs. The injury to opposite number Ferrario, however, affected his start to the season. And since then the results have been mixed: the Lombards have alternated great matches with avoidable defeats on paper.
“Ahead we will once again have a strong, compact sextet – explains coach Luigi Parisi –. Malnate has a roster of important, complete and long players for Serie B. She has both physicality and technique and is used to playing to win. We, on the other hand, are scraping together every remaining energy to try to complete each action in the best possible way.” Regarding the injured, he adds: “We have unavailable and injured people. We will have to find solutions and help each other. Luckily, the team is made up of helpful guys, who always make themselves available to the group. We will therefore try to bring the best possible performance to the parquet as always.”
As per calendar, please note that the match is valid for the 24th day of the championship. Npsg Trading Logistic and Yaka Malnate Volley will face each other at the Palazzetto of the multipurpose center of Malnate, in via Gasparotto, at 8.30 pm on Saturday 27 April 2024. The match will be refereed by Giovanni Cancellu and Diego Atzori.
