Jerect – Simplicity and genuineness are the human qualities of Marco Bezzecchi which appear immediately evident: as he himself says, he’s one of “belly”, he says what he wants without too many filters. “But it’s not always good, the world, too MotoGP is increasingly ‘politically correct’, sometimes I have to contain myself, but I can manage myself quite well” he says with a hint of disappointment. Guest of the new episode of atuttogas , Marco tells his story. Starting from 2023.
“A fantastic season, beyond my expectations.” Quite the opposite of 2024. “Again in this case, my ambitions at the beginning of the season were a little different… We’re getting out of it, but I’m struggling more, adapting to the new bike is costing me a bit. I didn’t expect these difficulties, I’m not comfortable yet. I have to distort myself a little.”
How do you manage this moment?
In the podcast, Bezzecchi explains what he is doing to get out of this situation (“We’re working on me, but it’s clear I’m not going home happy”).
Many say: he made a mistake in staying in the VR46 team, he should have gone to Pramac. Bezzecchi explains his reasons, once again from the gut.
“All drivers aspire to become official drivers, but why change blindly? Here I have a team built for me”.
According to a survey, Bezzecchi will struggle to return to the team in 2023.

But is MotoGP still “fun”? Marco has no doubts.
