The guide to the 2024 MotoGP Spanish Grand Prix taking place on the Jerez de la Frontera circuit: the program with dates and times of the track sessions and the characteristics of the Spanish track on which the fourth seasonal round of the MotoGP will take place.

After the Austin race won by Vinales the MotoGP returns to the track for the fourth round of World Cup 2024 and makes a stop in Europe for the first time this season: from today, Friday 26 April, to Sunday 28 April in fact the MotoGP World Championship is taking place on the Jerez de la Frontera circuit for the Spanish GP.

The program of the fourth weekend of the season of the premier class is the canonical one: on Friday the MotoGP (but also Moto2 and Moto3) riders take to the track for the first two free practice sessions (FP1 and FP2), on Saturday morning then it is the turn of Free Practice 3 and qualifications with Q1 and Q2 while in the afternoon, only for the top class, there is the Sprint Race, Sunday, as per tradition, ends with the race that will award the most considerable amount of world championship points. Without having to deal with time zones, the times of the various sessions on the Spanish track they will return to being the traditional ones, the same goes for the opening hours live and the live streaming on Sky and free-to-air broadcast on TV8.

There are several interesting ideas on the eve of the Spanish GP where Jorge Martin still leads the world championship standings after finishing ahead of the reigning champion Pecco Bagnaia also in Austin. Among those most awaited in Jerez, in addition to the two rivals who animated the last World Championship, there is Maverick Vinales who has just won a double victory on his Aprilia (in the Sprint and in the long race) in Texas, Enea Bastianini who finally seems to have found the right feeling with his official Ducati and above all the other two Spaniards Marc Marquez, who crashed while leading in the United States, and the very young Pedro Acosta who as a rookie has already amazed everyone in this start to the championship which he presents in his first home season in MotoGP thanks to the second place achieved in the last round.
