The Government’s intervention in the Spanish Football Federation has shocked UEFA And FIFA and now, according to what was reported by AS, the Spanish national team and clubs risk exclusion from international competitions. FIFA has closely observed the evolution of the situation and announced the urgent need to find a solution, considering that the Spanish Federation is among the most powerful in the world and, together with Portugal and Morocco, will host the 2030 World Cup.
Some UEFA members are not at all optimistic about what has happened. In Nyon, the government intervention is believed to violate FIFA laws.
