Pfor the first time i Vespa World Days they were required to Pontedera (Pisa) which is the home of the Vespathe city where, 78 years ago, the Vespa is bornfrom the ingenuity of Corradino D’ascanio and from the hands and arms and the toil of thousands of people who work and have worked at Piaggio.

They were four extraordinary days, from 18 to 21 April, and Pontedera, a town of 30 thousand inhabitants, welcomed at least 15 thousand Vespa enthusiasts. It was Vespa World Days more attended ever.
A unique show, with fans arriving from all over Italy and all over the world, from South Americafrom theIndiagive her Philippines and fromAustralia.
The Vespa Village it was the center of the party, the huge car park and the area equipped with food and Vespa displays. The city was invaded by passionate people and so the center was colored with Vespas, from the days before the event and also in the days after. Some giant Vespas and the Piaggio Museum it was visited like never before.
Piaggio also gave the possibility of visit the company with a train that took enthusiasts inside.
In short, it was a magical event, culminating with the parade on Saturday morning when 15 thousand Vespas left Pontedera and traveled through Valdera up to Peccioli. There, along the streets, many people were surprised by the pride of being part of this history, and they cried.
