BRINDISI – Over 400 members have been part of it, some for an event, some for months, some still remain in this group today. In retracing the brief history of Bram Sport Asd, what we like to remember most are not so much the sporting successes or the goals achieved (which there were) but the stories of the people who were part of it. The latter have contributed to creating relationships and moments of fun and reflection, through what has always been the most sincere objective: bringing together people of different ages and ideas to grow and spend a moment of leisure away from everyday problems.
Ten years ago nine members met in a small garage and in front of a pizza and a beer they tried to start what was a wonderful adventure.
Some then took their own path, with success even in the sports field they aspired to, others have always remained close. That evening the name of the association was born: “Brindisi friends of sport” (hence Bram).
There are many disciplines in which the members of the organization have tried their hand at and which they have learned to appreciate: basketball, in all its forms, amateur, mixed, competitive, 3 against 3, in a super-equipped hall like in a park pitch citizen; football, which before the forceful arrival of padel was the most common way to spend a sporting evening with friends; archery, perhaps practiced in the shade of the olive trees in the countryside of the province; tennis, despite the difficulty of finding a structure to host the athletes; volleyball, the group that perhaps best represents Bram Sport for its ability to keep old and new friendships together and many other moments of playful activity. This also occurs through all the various sports promotion bodies with which the association has affiliated over the years: Csen, Csi, Endas, Us Acli and the current Csain.
“We thank all the members who contributed with their participation and enthusiasm to the growth of the association – say the founders -, we still look forward to having them at our side and we hope to always bring together new collaborators and athletes. Best wishes to us”.
