Jasmine Paolini seventh! Riyadh Finals Dream

Jasmine Paolini was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the WTA 500 in Stuttgart: in ATP Races the blue one reaches altitude 1580climbing to seventh position and overtaking the Latvian Jelena Ostapenko, now eighth at 1554. If the season ended at this moment the Italian would therefore be qualified for the Finals in Riyadh.

At the end of the last tournament of WTA Tour of the calendar year will qualify for the Finals in Riyadh top seven in the world rankings. Also, the tennis player best placed among the winners of the Grand Slam tournaments between eighth and twentieth place will take part in the Finals.

Finally, if there are two Slam winners between eighth and twentieth place, only whoever is better placed between the two will be entitled to participatewhile the other will be there first reserve. If the Slam champions are all in the top 7or beyond 20th place, then also the eighth place will go to the Finals.
