In view of the last regular season championship match of the Virtus Bologna women against Molisana Campobasso these were the words of coach Pierre Vincent: “It seems to me that the team is finishing the championship well. We are all ready to play the matches that count and we want to conclude by having a good match against Campobasso. It is an atypical team because they defend very well, they are also aggressive in attack. They played a good championship given their qualities, they are tough in defence. All the teams struggled against them and we will have to pay attention to their qualities, some players are very fast and difficult to control. Collective defense will be fundamental, we will have to manage their pressure well in attack and it hasn’t always been easy for us to manage it. Our bench has confidence, the girls are ready and will give everything they can give. To win important matches we need everyone with the positive attitude they already have. We get to the playoffs with a ready team, we can always improve things even if it’s late. We have good control of our choices and mentally it is a team that is confident in itself, capable of managing moments of decline, which was more difficult before.”
