If there is a motorcycle that populates the collective imagination of Italians, it is the Vespa. A very rare example up for auction.
Even if the March data tell us that the sale of two-wheelers has dropped, the sector is in excellent health and the manufacturers are in great turmoil. Worthy of note is the initiative of Piaggio which has decided to create a sort of auction lasting four days in the context of Vespa World Days scheduled from 18 to 21 April, celebration which will see lovers of the cute motorcycle and national clubs from 60 countries around the world as protagonists.
The order can be placed online on the brand’s portal or directly on site at the Vespa Village in Pontedera, headquarters of the brand and location where the party will take place. If no communication has been made regarding the price, on the contrary we know that the available examples will be few and all embellished with a numbered plate, located on the back of the shield where the ad hoc logo for the 140 years of the Italian company will also be present.

The limited edition model e released only in 140 pieces it takes up the lines of the GTV capable of mixing the classic taste that is to be expected from this scooter with the modernity imposed by technology.
Aesthetically it stands out for the predominant white of the livery, interspersed with blue and light blue graphics and spaces in homage to the company colors. The tie on the shield and the triple air vents located in the center and on both sides are inevitable.
The blue saddle is striking, with double tone-on-tone and contrasting stitching. The saddle is comfortable and wide as usual. Among the standard equipment we also have the rear seat cover which provides that extra touch of sportiness. The rims are 12 inches.
Moving on to the most important aspect, namely the engine, we have a liquid-cooled, four-valve single-cylinder with electronic injection. The horsepower it is capable of delivering is 23.8 at 8,250 rpm, with a maximum torque of 26 Nm at 5,250 rpm. All the headlights are full LED, while the fully digitalised instruments have maintained the round format.
Those who want greater connectivity can request activation of the Vespa Mia system. Helps include traction control, ABS and keyless entry. The accessories include the leather rear bag, the luggage rack and the protection bars, as well as the methacrylate windshield.
