Aurelio De Laurentiis he wants to start again with a new cycle and will not be alone, as happened this season, to drag Napoli towards new horizons. The blue owner, in fact, has decided to entrust the sports management to Giovanni Manna who is already working for Napoli despite the lack of official announcement of his arrival in Naples.

Dgebuadze revealed what the future of Kvaratskhelia will be and recommended to Napoli a new Georgian talent that the Azzurri should keep an eye on for next summer. It’s Georges Mikautadzecurrently owned by Metz.

Below are Dgebuadze’s words to SpazioNapoli:

What are your feelings about the future of Kvaratskhelia?
“According to what I have read in the media and according to my feeling, I believe that the renewal of Kvaratskhelia will take place. I have no information on the matter, but I believe that next year Kvaratskhelia will still be at Napoli and with an important renewal. The renewal will arrive at the end of the season and I think it will be the central point in the blue project next year. Osimhen will leave us, we already know this, but Kvara will remain and will be the central nucleus of the new Napoli. Let’s see, but his whole family is happy to be in Naples and even Kvara himself said so. He feels at home and this is very important, he likes everything about Naples. There are many similarities between Neapolitans and Georgians.”

Could Mikautadze be a striker from Napoli?
“I want to talk about him to get to know him better. I must underline that he is totally a product of European football, unlike Kvara. Since he was a kid he moved to France and therefore he is a European player. He had a difficult time at Ajax, but at Metz he is doing very well and he is the one who can save them from the revolution. Last year I said that I would like to see Mamardashvili and Mikautadze in Naples, but for the Valencia goalkeeper it will be a bit difficult given that his value is around 35-40 million. For Mikautadze, however, it’s a different story. Napoli, given their offensive qualities, could make a great deal at a low cost. I don’t consider him the replacement of Osimhen, but rather of Simeone.”

What player is Mikautadze?
“He is a very quick, explosive striker and has great technique. We can admire him in Ligue 1 and he is doing a great job. I’m sure that the Napoli scouts are observing the Georgian players and he is also among those observed. He could contribute to Napoli’s victories in the future.”

Mamardashvili in Serie A?
“Last year too there were contacts with Inter. Many people close to Inter have asked me about him. In Georgia we have never had a European-class goalkeeper. He will be among the top-level goalkeepers and will be a top club player.”
