In short, the KTM test team has identified the key dates for participation in the races as part of the work program for 2024, developing the RC16 for the rest of the current season, with a view to 2025 and beyond. Dani Pedrosawhich thrilled with notable performances in Jerez and Misano in 2023, will return to action on the weekend of 26-28 April for the Spanish GP. Pol Espargaro, in his first year as a KTM tester, can’t wait to return to his colleagues. He will do it on one of the fastest and most evocative tracks in the World Championship, namely at Mugello for the Italian GP scheduled from 31 May to 2 June.
“Last year I had a lot of fun in Jerez and the welcome from the fans was fantastic. It’s a special place, we all know that. For us it will also be important to verify some references that emerged in the tests in the context of a race. It’s the main reason to take to the track to compete.” – Dani Pedrosa
“I’m very happy to be racing again, especially because it will happen at Mugello, a very special place to get on a MotoGP. It will be nice to be back on the grid with my colleagues. The tests so far have gone very well, I’m motivated. After the injury in 2023 I am back to what I once was. I can’t wait to return to the MotoGP ‘family’ and demonstrate that the work done in the tests was tough, that we are fast.” – Pol Espargaro
