According to Sky Sports, Steven Zhang’s top priority is to remain in charge of the club beyond May 20th

In recent hours the topic of Inter’s corporate future has become very topical again, after some newspapers, Corriere della Sera and Repubblica first and foremost, launched the indiscretion regarding the interest of a Saudi family in the acquisition of the Nerazzurri club .

According to Sky Sport, Steven Zhang’s absolute priority is to remain in charge of the club beyond May 20, the date on which the deadlines for the repayment of over 350 million euros (including interest) loaned by the Californian fund Oaktree Capital Management to Suning will expire , who in exchange pledged his shares of Inter itself.

In this sense, Sky reports, Zhang would be working on the refinancing of the loan itself, having for some time now undertaken dialogues both with Oaktree, still ongoing, and in parallel, and this is the news, with an Anglo-Saxon fund. A fund which, according to the latest rumours, could take the place of Oaktree itself in support of Zhang in the management of Inter, with a new loan and a new deadline. The possible sale of the club, at the moment, represents a more futuristic scenario than the current one.
