Darion Atkinswho arrived in Reggio Emilia from Trento last July, explained how he adapted to his new role as a power forward in UNAHOTELS and Saturday’s playoff match against EA7 Emporio Armani.
From center to power forward. “The adaptation to the new role was overall quick and quite easy. I’m dedicating myself to the team, some games offer me the opportunity to take more shots, others less, but the important thing is that we are continuing to grow and win. Which is much more important than scoreboards.”
PalaBigi’s great challenge against EA7 Emporio Armani. “Our current structure can allow us to compete even against better equipped front lines: Milan is certainly one of these and it will be a truly motivating and tough challenge. We will have to be the ones to show in front of our fans that we can compete with them too and play another great match at the Pala Bigi.”
Room with playoff view. “We’re at a point in the season where I think it’s inevitable that each of us takes a look at the standings, the calendar and maybe starts doing some calculations in our heads.”
