The new Moto Guzzi Stelvio seeks supremacy
The Moto Guzzi Stelvio does not disappoint expectations, maintaining intact the charisma and peculiarities that have made the Italian brand famous, but at the same time representing a notable leap in quality in terms of riding dynamics, general comfort and technological equipment. This new model marks a significant turning point for the historic Casa dell’aquila, underlining the new path undertaken under the aegis of the Piaggio group and with the technical contribution coming from Noale.
The beating heart of the Moto Guzzi Stelvio is represented by the classic engine 1,042 transverse 90° V-twin cc. Equipped with double camshaft distribution and 4 valves per cylinder, this liquid-cooled engine offers exceptional performance and a declared power of 115 HP at 8,700 rpm, with a maximum torque of 105 Nm available at 6,750 rpm.
The Stelvio is equipped with a braking system with 320 mm Brembo discs at the front combined with four-piston radial-mount calipers, while at the rear there is a 280 mm disc with a two-piston floating caliper.
With a curb weight of 246kg, the Moto Guzzi Stelvio proves to be an impressive option from the first kilometres. This merit is mainly due to its excellent chassis, one of the undisputed strong points of the model.
