The public can express their preference on the 28 artists who compete on the Ariston stage. Voting, via landline or text message, is reserved for adults. Here are all the instructions
After the first two evenings dedicated to the preferences of the press room, in Sanremo on Thursday, Friday and Saturday the public also votes from home via televoting. Spectators will be able to vote during the televoting sessions, or – explains the regulation of the event – “in the period of time between the moment in which the opening of the Televoting is communicated and the moment in which the closure of the same is communicated”. The televoting service is reserved for adults and is subject to payment (THE SANREMO SPECIAL – THE LADDER OF THE FOURTH EVENING). It is not possible to vote for free.

The public can vote from a landline by calling 894.001. It is not possible to express one’s preference for this number from public telephones, mobile phones or foreign landlines. The caller must follow the instructions given by a pre-recorded message and enter the two-digit code associated with each artist and communicated during the transmission. The cost of each call from a fixed user (regardless of the distance, time, duration of the call and the telephone operator) with which a valid vote is actually expressed will be Euro 0.51 including VAT. No cost will be charged for calls made beyond the maximum number allowed for each voting session; in the event that the user makes an excessive number of calls or enters an incorrect or out of time identification code, he will hear a free error message and no vote will be counted.

You can also vote by sending a text message to 475.475.1. Also in this case the two-digit code associated with each artist must be indicated. Some “aliases” are also valid, the regulation explains. For example, if you want to vote for the singer who has the code 01, the following formulas will also be valid: 1, one, code 1, code1, code 01, code01, number 1, number1, number 01, number01. The cost of each SMS, charged to the user by their operator (on the telephone bill in the case of a subscription or deducted from the available credit in the case of a rechargeable card) will be Euro 0.50 including VAT. As in the case of landline voting, the user will only pay for valid votes.

As the Sanremo regulation explains, “the maximum number of valid votes (for each delivery channel, therefore 5 SMS messages from mobile users and 5 calls from fixed users) that can be made by each telephone user is equal to 5 (five) votes for each session voting scheduled for the 3rd, 4th and 5th evening. Votes received by the counting systems outside the time span of the Televoting Session are automatically rejected by the system and are totally free”.
