Tim goes down throughout Italy: thousands of reports from North to South

Tim down. Italy woke up like this today, this Sunday morning, February 5th. Thousands of reports from North to South are recorded, especially from late morning, especially in large cities, as can be seen from the graph below. The problems seem to concern above all the internet connection from a landline and the difficulty in accessing some sites (not all). Even on Twitter, one of the trending hashtags is #timdown.

The anomalies concerned access from the fixed network and, to a lesser extent, also from mobile phones. Most reports come from the largest cities: Turin, Milan, Bologna, Florence, Perugia, Rome, Naples, Bari, Catania and Palermo.

The causes of the disruption are not known And Tim hasn’t released an official statement yet.

At the moment, users who crowd the company’s social pages with indignant comments are asked to send private messages indicating details on the nature of the disruption, also including “telephone number, name, surname and tax code of the line owner”.

The hashtag #Timdown is raging on Twitter, gathering the anger, bitterness and irony of users.

Tim subscribers flock to comment on pages like Downdector and customer-assistance.it. At 1pm reports were almost 7,500.

#DownRadar Alert! This morning, 5/2/2023, we are receiving reports of TIM problems. At 1 pm we received 2302 reports of problems and disservices! Live data at: https://t.co/hiBIEORdtf #timdown #tim
