A few days ago Google officially announced that the new Android Auto design known as “Coolwalk” is available to all users, after a public beta period of about two months. Now the Mountain View giant has released a new beta version of Android Auto.

The Android Auto beta updates to version 8.7

As often happens, no news or even the changes introduced by this 8.7 beta version of Android Auto have been published, so it is likely that it has the purpose of laying the foundations for the next features that will be introduced.

The new beta version of Android Auto is available through the Google Play Store, but alternatively you can manually download and install the app’s APK file available on APKMirror.

The new Coolwalk design is a long-awaited major update to Android Auto, introducing a revamped dashboard that displays up to three apps simultaneously, a dock for shortcuts, and many other new features, such as voice calling support for WhatsApp, although at the moment with a limitation.
