Il animated film with the highest grossing in history in Italy. After two weekends of presence in theaters, ‘Inside Out 2’one of the most anticipated Disney and Pixar films of the year, recorded a gross of almost 30 million euros.
One record after another for the animated film that is so far bringing together audiences and critics. Two details are striking when analyzing this result: ‘There’s still tomorrow’Paola Cortellesi’s phenomenal film, took 50 days to achieve this result, and the primo ‘Inside Out‘ had stopped at “only” 25 and a half million euros.
The film is pulling all the box officein Italy and also abroad. In our peninsula, the value of the box office of the last weekend was 8,001,877 euros, + 76.7% compared to the same period in 2023, when it stopped at 4,530,293 euros, there were no Europeans and the offer in theaters included titles such as ‘Indiana Jones and the Quadrant of Destiny’ ed ‘Elemental’. But the appreciation is also notable compared to pre-pandemic data: on the weekend of 27-30 June 2019, it stopped at just 3,391,603 euros, thanks above all to ‘Toy Story 4’ and its €1.6 million debut. In the weekend of 28 June – 1 July 2018, only 2,005,137 were collected (in the lead was ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’with 472,578 euros).
