A departure without much direction is expected for the main stock exchanges of the Old Continent, including Piazza Affari.

The main American stock market indices were in mixed territory in yesterday’s session, which reopened after the Juneteenth Holiday 2024 observed on June 19. At the end of trading the Dow Jones rose by 0.77% to 39,135 points while the Standard & Poor’s 500 lost 0.25% to 5,473 points. Larger profit taking, however, for the Nasdaq, correcting by 0.79% to 17,722 points.

The group’s 500 million euro capital increase starts on Monday: shares offered at 2.62 euros, a value that incorporates a discount of 32.2% compared to the theoretical ex right price (Terp ) calculated on the closing price on 20 June 2024. The option rights for the subscription of the new shares will be exercisable from next Monday, 24 June, and until 11 July, while the securities will be negotiable until 5 July.

Speaking of corporate operations, SGG Holding has agreed with Borsa Italiana on a 5-day extension of the voluntary total takeover offer promoted on the shares Saes Getters. Therefore the membership period will end on June 28th.
