Tragedy in Senigallia, where a man took his own life after killing his 87-year-old mother and barricading himself in the house for several hours. The perpetrator of the murder is a 51-year-old man, probably mentally unstable. For a long time the carabinieri tried to contact the son of the woman, who died from gunshots inside the house near the Cesano river, between the municipalities of Senigallia and Mondolfo and the provinces of Ancona and Pesaro Urbino. The man would have killed himself with the same firearm with which he had killed his mother.
The story
The yellow building is located on the edge of the city, in a marginal context on the extreme northern outskirts of Senigallia. On the other side of the house the Adriatic railway line passes and then there is the beach. The escape routes therefore appear to be blocked for the murderer, who, according to initial information, appears to suffer from mental disorders. In the meantime, the air ambulance called by the regional hospital in Torrette di Ancona left empty, as it had not yet been possible to intervene for the deceased woman. The investigations are currently useful to understand whether there are other people inside the house.
