Treviso and Cortina d’Ampezzo will be connected directly by Mom (Branded Mobility) buses throughout the 2026 Winter Olympics starting on February 6th.
The initiative, which aims to encourage comfortable and sustainable mobility towards the Dolomite area during the competition period, is carried out with the fundamental support of the DMO Marca Treviso Foundation and Banca Prealpi SanBiagio. The project also benefits from the funds made available by the Ministry of Tourism and enjoys the institutional support of the Municipalities of Treviso, Conegliano, Vittorio Veneto and the Chamber of Commerce. In Cortina the accommodation facilities are already fully booked and the limitations on private traffic in the gaming area, in which only public services will have access to the red zone limited to residents with passes, make Treviso and its province an ideal logistical and accommodation base. The new bus service has been designed to meet the needs of both tourists and Treviso residents heading to Cortina, offering a direct alternative to existing transport which often requires numerous changes.
HOW IT WORKS
The connection will be operational for the entire duration of the races (18 days) and includes two pairs of daily return trips, with times planned to harmonize with the competition calendar. The route will touch the main strategic nodes of the province starting from the Treviso train station and the Canova airport. Intermediate stops at the car park in via Marco Fanno in Conegliano, at the car park at the Vittorio Veneto Sud toll booth and in Calalzo di Cadore for the interchange with the train station from which you can continue towards Cortina d’Ampezzo. The estimated travel time of the journey is approximately 3 hours, traveling along the A27 and Statale 51 Alemagna. Thanks to a commercial agreement with Dolomitibus, passengers will be able to take advantage of an integrated ticketing system which will facilitate access to the games area. The service rates will be at absolutely popular prices thanks to the unanimous support of the territorial partners. It will be possible to book and purchase travel tickets online directly on the official website www.mobilitadimarca.it starting from mid-January.
