The offensive winger born in 2006 will change team in January: goodbye to Juve Stabia, we are looking for a new position
Giacomo De Pieri’s first season among professionals is certainly not going according to expectations. The offensive winger born in 2006, after having led Inter Primavera to win the league title and having made his debut in the First Team at the end of January, in the Champions League against Monaco, in the summer he moved on loan to Juve Stabia, in Serie B, to begin his journey among the “grown-ups”.
The experience in Campania, however, did not yield the desired results: only 168 minutes played since the start of the season, few match clips and a lot of bench time. Which is why, according to what was gathered by Fcinter 1908we will look for a new place for him in January.
Increasingly limited space
—
After a promising start, with three appearances in the first three official matches between the championship and the Italian Cup (one as a starter), De Pieri slowly ended up at the bottom of Ignazio Abate’s hierarchy, coach of Juve Stabia. Thanks to the change of formation and the move to 3-5-2, the space for Inter’s canterano has become increasingly smaller. The goal scored in Padua at the end of October seemed like it could be the turning point for the talented player born in 2006, but that wasn’t the case: from that moment on, only two brief appearances in the next 9 games, with the last game played dating back to 8 December (45 minutes against Frosinone), before returning to the bench against Empoli, Cesena and Sudtirol without ever setting foot on the pitch.
Inter’s plan
—
It is inevitable, at this point, to start looking around. The idea of Inter, the player and his entourage is to remain in Serie B to find playing time elsewhere, possibly in a team that adopts a module that can enhance the characteristics of one of the best talents produced by the Nerazzurri youth sector in recent years. The hypothesis of a downgrading to Serie C is much more remote, if not even to be discarded. More will be known in the coming days.
