Ariccia, 74-year-old Vinicio Sbordoni, who had disappeared on the afternoon of April 30th from his home in the historic center of Ariccia, was found shortly before 1pm during searches by the local police.

He was lifeless in a field full of thick vegetation in a wooded area between the monumental bridge and the area of ​​the Via Appia Antica, Vallericcia area. It was not easy to find him as he had ventured into an area of ​​thick bush and very tall vegetation. In addition to the local police, the carabinieri from the Ariccia station and the Velletri company were also on site, conducting investigations after the wife’s disappearance was reported at the local station. The magistrate on duty in the Velletri Prosecutor’s Office, Giuseppe Travaglini, also went to the scene to ascertain the facts.

The body will soon be transported to the Tor Vergata forensic medicine institute for an autopsy which will establish the exact cause of death and also the date on which the man lost his life. Which presumably could date back to the same day or the day after his disappearance, perhaps due to an illness with serious health conditions.
