Local biscuits and salami recalled on weekends

Over the weekend, the Ministry of Health published the recall of two types of local salami due to microbiological risk. The Pam Panorama chain, however, reported eight types of biscuits due to the possible presence of foreign bodies in the product.

The call of biscuits

Pam Panorama supermarkets have issued a precautionary recall by the manufacturer of some batches of La Sfoglia brand biscuits. The reason indicated on the warning is possible contamination by metallic foreign bodies. The affected products are the following:

  • Chocolate kisses, in 180 gram trays belonging to batches number 039/24 with the minimum shelf life (TMC) 14/06/2024, 073/24 with the TMC 14/07/2024, and 100/24 ​​with the TMC 08/14/2024;
  • Baciotti with pistachio, in 180 gram trays belonging to batches number 039/24 with the TMC 06/14/2024, 073/24 with the TMC 07/14/2024, and 100/24 ​​with the TMC 08/14/2024;
  • Almond mix, in 180 gram trays belonging to batches number 046/24 with the TMC 06/21/2024, 064/24 with the TMC 07/07/2024, 075/24 with the TMC 07/21/2024, 087/ 24 with the 07/28/2024, and 095/24 with the TMC 08/07/24;
  • Chocolate almond, in 180 gram trays belonging to batches number 064/24 with the TMC 07/07/2024, and 078/24 with the TMC 07/21/2024;
  • Pistachio almond, in 180 gram trays belonging to batches number 046/24 with the TMC 06/21/2024, 053/24 with the TMC 06/21/2024, 064/24 with the TMC 07/07/2024, 078 /24 with the TMC 07/21/2024, 087/24 with the TMC 07/28/2024, and 095/24 with the TMC 07/08/24;
  • Glazed almond, in 180 gram trays belonging to lot number 078/24 with the TMC 14/06/2024;
  • Amandine, in 180 gram trays belonging to batch numbers 046/24 with the TMC 06/21/2024, 064/24 with the TMC 07/07/2024, 075/24 with the TMC 07/21/2024, 087/24 with the TMC 07/28/2024, and 095/24 with the TMC 08/07/2024;
  • Berry rosettes, in 180 gram trays belonging to lot number 046/24 with the TMC 06/21/2024.

The company La Sfoglia Srl produced all the recalled biscuits. The production plant is located in viale JF Kennedy 62/62, in Leinì, in the metropolitan city of Turin.

The call of salami

The Ministry of Health, however, reported the recall by the manufacturer of a batch of local salami and one of local salami with garlic under the Salumificio F.lli Scapocchin brand. The reason given is the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in the product. The salami in question are sold in pieces of 600/800 grams, belonging to batch numbers 164/24 (local salami) and 165/24 (local salami with garlic).

Salumificio F.lli Scapocchin Srl produced the recalled salami. The production plant is located in via Giorgio La Pira 14, in Camposampiero, in the province of Padua.

As a precaution, it is recommended not to consume products with the batch numbers indicated above. Consumers who are in possession of the recalled references can return them to the point of purchase.
