CONFIGURATION On Friday, July 5, at 9:00 p.m., the Arcidiaconal Church of Agordo will host an extraordinary event with the performance of the “Cantemus Children’s Choir”, a world-famous Hungarian female youth choir, directed by Maestro Dénes Szabó. Dénes Szabó, a leading figure in the international choral scene, founded the choir in 1975. After studying music in Szeged, Miskolc and Budapest, Szabó began teaching at the “Zoltán Kodály” Elementary School in Nyíregyháza, where musical and vocal lessons are held every day. The “Cantemus Children’s Choir” is part of a choral institute that also includes the “Pro Musica Girls’ Choir” and the “Cantemus Mixed Voice Choir”. Cantemus performs globally and participates in numerous international competitions. The event in Agordo is organized by the Coro Misto Polifonico di Trichiana, in collaboration with the ASAC and thanks to the commitment of Paolo Gardenal, president of the Coro di Trichiana. Cantemus will also perform on July 6 in Trichiana and on July 7 in Parè di Conegliano. The evening will also see the performances of the Coro Val Biois and the children’s voices of the “Scuola interregionale di Canto e Teatro”, a project that unites children and young people from the Dolomites.
