Summer in Sciacca did not start in the best way with the suspension of the entertainment activities of the Sagra del Mare due to lack of authorizations. It is not new that events and demonstrations are interrupted due to incomplete documentation, as happened last year when the Vertical Tour was stopped on August 16. Yet, despite the suspension, Event’s Way, the company organizing the Vertical Summer Tour, has decided to give Sciacca another chance, including it again in the nine stages of its tour.
The event will take place on August 13th and 14th at the beach of Contrada Foggia, with Radio Deejay as media partner, promising two days of sports, music and fun. The Vertical Summer Tour will offer a rich program of activities.
The activities will start at 10 with the opening of the village. At 10:30 the Sup area will open with free trials under the guidance of qualified instructors. At 10:45 it will be the turn of the muscle awakening, followed at 11:15 by games on the stage with numerous gadgets up for grabs for participants.
Starting at 11:30, everyone in the water for a session of aquagym, followed by dance lessons. At 12:30 the beach will come alive with music and group dancing. At 13:00, the official theme song of the Vertical Summer Tour and the temporary closure of the village.
The village will reopen at 3:00 p.m., with the beach bar ready to serve refreshments. Sports activities will resume at 3:30 p.m. with beach volleyball, beach tennis, table football and sparring tournaments. At 5:45 p.m. it will be the turn of the beach race challenge, followed at 6:30 p.m. by the vertical show. The day will end at 6:45 p.m. with the award ceremony for the tournament winners and the closing at 7 p.m. with the theme tune of the Vertical Summer Tour.
