Anyone who grew up with certain bands has enough arguments to reject such lies, without even having to explain to an ignorant person that Legion is Deicide’s technical album while Once Upon The Cross is the dark and combative one!or that Tapping the Vein is brutal while the previous Better of Dead, not only for the Tank covers, plays entirely on the quotation of classic heavy metal! There is no point in dwelling on the differences between South of Heaven – an article is coming that in a certain sense concerns him – e Divine Intervention. Sever The Tongue And Bury Your Cross…With Your Christ are the singles: the first has some ridiculous choruses in the chorus, the second follows the style of Legion and it’s honestly better. There are twelve tracks for forty minutes of cleanly produced and technically well-executed music, and overall the work never gets off the ground. Mashed potato Faithless it’s cute, while the second part is a bit all indecent. Except for the title track with a bold attack and a supporting riff that is not very distant from that of Conviction. Sometimes slowing down helps Deicide.
The titles are the usual compendium of shamelessness and veiled irony, A Trinity of None, Woke from God, From Unknown Heights you Shall Fall. After Bastard of Christ nothing makes sense anymore, you could retire and clock out at least from that point of view. There is no “beyond”.
A group officially finished over ten years ago, just waste more time on it: there is no melodic vein or temporary solution that can lift them from there. Robetta six politician, yet another piece of American extreme metal history. Do you want me to tell you it’s bad? It is not.
