THE DOOMRAISER have completed work on the new album “Cold Grave Marble”which is scheduled to be published in the next few months on Time To Kill Records.
“Cold Grave Marble”, the sixth full-length of the increasingly successful Roman doom metal band, is a cold vision through the darkest aspect of life: Death, the Omega of the earthly dimension. The album is composed of raw riffing enriched by heavy, dark and dreamlike atmospheres, and explores a great vastness of styles and sounds. The approach to songwriting is rougher than before, experimental, suggestive, yet maintains the characteristic DOOMRAISER sound.
The lyrical concept focuses on a personal vision of Death, the Infinite Void, the Great Absence, the greatest experience of disorder and disintegration of reality. It is a journey that explores the end of the biological cycle and the awareness of the atavistic concept of “having to die”, an extreme, but necessary and natural event that belongs to the inevitability of time.
The album was recorded again in Rome, by the expert hands of Danilo Silvestri and mastered (as well as the previous one “The Dark Side of Old Europa”) from Claudio Gruer. The album features the participation of illustrious guests such as James Murphy (Death, Obituary, Testament), Flegias (Necrodeath) e Mario Di Donato (The Black).
