Three years have passed since Paolo Sorrentino enchanted and moved us with his It Was the Hand of God: the moment, in short, is finally the right one for the director of The Great Beauty to return to give us his cinema. 2024 will be the year of Parthenopewhich finally, according to what we read, has a release date!
It was Sorrentino himself, who recently clarified that he did not consider Parthenope a love letter to Naples, who communicated on social media the day on which the film starring Gary Oldman, Luisa Ranieri and Celeste Della Porta will make its debut in cinemas: the day chosen is that of next October 24th.
“Parthenope will be released on October 24th in Italian cinemas and will be preceded by a program of special screenings of midnight from September 19th” we read in the latest post published on Instagram by the director. In short, some lucky people will be able to attend the screening of Parthenope starting a few days before the official release date: we will obviously see when the theaters selected by the distribution will be communicated to us for this operation.
The post by Sorrentino was obviously stormed by messages from fans who rushed to rejoice at the news: at this point there’s nothing left to do but wait until next autumn!
