He chose Burano, Disney Italy, to launch the new Disey Pixar film Inside out 2, in theaters from June 19th. From the giant installations dedicated to the new emotions protagonists of the film – Anxiety, Envy, Ennui and Embarrassment – appeared on the colorful houses of the island, thanks also to the collaboration with local artists and artisans who created a union between the colors of the characters and those of the island architecture.

Not only that, the installations are all made with recycled materials and with low environmental impact, designed to be perfectly integrated into the unique context of the island of Buranocolored during the day and illuminated at night through low consumption LED systems.

A temporary “Pop-up” activation that surprised residents and tourists and was the protagonist of a video –New emotions in Burano – distributed internationally through the social channels of Disney and Pixar, a tribute to the film and its protagonists, but also to the creativity of the island.

The project was realized thanks to support of the Venice Film Commission and the Municipality of Venice, using local workers and professionals.

The film

The film Inside out 2, exactly like the 2015 prequel, it intends to bring children and teenagers into a journey to discover emotions.

If, almost ten years ago, the protagonist was a little girl struggling with the simplest emotions, today Disney and Pixar return to Riley’s mind, on the threshold of adolescence, and therefore in a phase of growth and discovery of new emotions.

The little girl thus clashes with Anxiety, Envy, Ennui and Embarrassment and must learn to manage them.
