After the end of The Fall Guy, director David Leitch gave viewers some gems, showing not only a bunch of behind-the-scenes scenes that reveal the creation of the most spectacular stunts, but also a very particular scene for the end credits.
The cameo of the historical protagonists
During an interview with NBCthe director spoke about the scene in which we find ourselves Lee Majors And Heather Thomastwo of the protagonists of The Fall Guy television series.
As told by Leitch, it was Majors himself who showed up:
Lee was so happy that he was going to do it again, then he contacted me personally and we talked about what I intended to do. Majors told me, “Whatever you do, I trust it. I love your films.” It was wonderful to hear that, I replied: “Really? Is fantastic”. So he was excited to be back on the scene, so we thought we’d reach out to Heather too, they were both so excited to be reunited in this different way.
He then added that he filmed other scenes with the two of them:
I shot a couple of alternate takes and it’s funny, because I owe Lee $1,000. He told me: “You will use [il cammeo] for the credits, right? Not for the bridge scene.” I said: “No, I’ll also shoot the bridge scene, maybe you’ll be in both.” And he said to me, “I bet you 1,000 dollars that it won’t be like that.” So now I have to write him a check for $1000. It’s coming, Lee, it’s coming.
